Rentahan.ph Terms and Conditions

• Rentahan.ph / “Platform” / “We” / “Us” refers to the Rentahan.ph rental marketplace and property management platform.
• User refers to any person using the Platform.
• Owner refers to property owners, managers, brokers, or authorized representatives listing properties.
• Renter refers to individuals browsing, applying for, or renting properties.
• Listing refers to any property advertisement published on the Platform.
• Content refers to text, images, videos, documents, messages, and other uploaded materials.

To use Rentahan.ph, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into agreements
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Use the Platform in compliance with Philippine laws and regulations

By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Rentahan.ph is a technology platform that helps connect renters and property owners/managers.

We do not:

• Own or manage listed properties (unless explicitly stated)
• Act as a real estate broker unless separately licensed
• Guarantee property availability, condition, legality, or suitability
• Guarantee that renters or owners will fulfill obligations

Transactions, lease agreements, and relationships formed through the Platform are solely between users.

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials
• All activities conducted under their account
• Keeping account information updated

You agree not to:

• Share accounts with others
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Create fake or misleading accounts
• Circumvent account restrictions or suspensions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Owners and managers are responsible for ensuring that listings are accurate, truthful, non-misleading, contain only authorized property content, and comply with applicable housing and rental laws.

Prohibited listings include fraudulent properties, duplicate spam listings, illegal accommodations, discriminatory listings prohibited by law, and listings containing offensive or misleading content.

Rentahan.ph reserves the right to edit, remove, reject, or suspend listings at our discretion.

Renters may submit rental applications through the Platform. Owners are solely responsible for reviewing applications, screening renters, accepting or rejecting applications, preparing lease agreements, and verifying submitted information.

Rentahan.ph is not a party to any lease, contract, or agreement between users.

The Platform may support online payment processing including GCash, Maya, credit/debit cards, and other supported payment providers.

Payment processors may have separate terms and fees. Failed or delayed transactions may occur outside our control. Rentahan.ph is not liable for banking or payment network failures. If subscription or service fees are introduced, they will be disclosed separately.

The Platform may provide messaging features between renters and owners. Users agree not to send spam or scams, harass or threaten others, share malicious links, or conduct illegal activity through communications.

We reserve the right to monitor, review, or remove communications when necessary for security, moderation, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

Rentahan.ph may offer account verification or document review features. However, verification does not guarantee legitimacy or trustworthiness, we do not guarantee the accuracy of submitted documents, and users must still exercise independent judgment and due diligence.

Users retain ownership of their uploaded content. By uploading content, you grant Rentahan.ph a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, reproduce, modify for formatting, and promote listings and platform content.

You are responsible for ensuring that uploaded content does not violate intellectual property rights, is lawful and accurate, and does not infringe on privacy rights.

Users may not use the Platform for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, scrape or harvest platform data without permission, interfere with Platform security or performance, or use the Platform for fraudulent schemes. Violations may result in suspension, termination, and legal action.

We aim to keep the Platform available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify features, perform maintenance, suspend services temporarily, or remove functionality without prior notice.

All Platform branding, software, design, logos, and proprietary content belong to Rentahan.ph unless otherwise stated. Users may not copy or reproduce Platform materials, reverse engineer the Platform, or use trademarks without permission.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Rentahan.ph, you consent to the collection and processing of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentahan.ph shall not be liable for loss of income or profits, property disputes, user misconduct, fraudulent listings, damages arising from rental agreements, or indirect or consequential damages. Users use the Platform at their own risk.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rentahan.ph and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your interactions with other users, or your listings or uploaded content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in suspicious or illegal activity, or harm the Platform or other users. We may also remove listings or restrict access without prior notice when necessary.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Philippine courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
